Mogador Menzah Appart Hotel, Marrakesh

The hotel is in a great location, just a 10-minute drive from many sites, which was convenient for us. However, the room we had, even though it was a suite, was quite small with a double bed only, making it a bit cramped. The cleanliness was also an issue as the previous guest had left a mess in the WC and there were leftover foods around.

The apartment was large and spacious, accommodating all four of us. It was very spacious and spotlessly clean, although it was older and less appealing compared to the others. The hotel staff were not customer-focused and lacked warmth in their service, with instances of rudeness.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The rooms were very disappointing, not living up to the 4-star standard, filled with dust, and not as advertised. However, the discounted price we paid lessened the blow. The service was a mix of unwelcoming behavior but with potential if staff received better training. The location was great, convenient to many attractions, despite some communication issues. The dining experience was lacking healthy options and fruit, a far cry from what we had elsewhere in Marrakech.

The hotel is located in a very nice and calm area, but the rooms were not ready at all upon arrival, dirty, and lacked basic amenities like hangers and enough towels. The air conditioning was also not functional, quite disappointing compared to the website description. Be cautious when booking.
